The memorandum provides for development of cooperation in areas such as the construction and maintenance of large and small nuclear power plants in Brazil, extension of the lifespan of nuclear plants in operation in the country, processing of nuclear materials, closed nuclear fuel cycle and radioactive waste management, implementation of joint projects in the areas of education and training, increase of public acceptance of nuclear energy, among others.
