Anastasia Zoteeva was appointed as CEO of Rusatom Energy International

On December 23, 2016, Anastasia Zoteeva, who previously held the position of Deputy CEO for Business Development, was appointed as CEO of JSC Rusatom Energy International.

Anastasia Zoteeva has been working in the nuclear energy field for five years and proved herself to be professional, strong-willed and goal-oriented manager being able to find the right and timely strategic decisions on a wide range of company’ tasks”.

Anastasia Zoteeva graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University specializing in Applied Mathematics. She also conducted research work on Applied Mathematics at the Eastern Europe Economics Institute in Stockholm (Sweden).

She started her professional career in 1995 at Dialog-Bank as a Senior Specialist, Credit Cards Department. Later she moved to various managerial positions at JSC Brunswick Warburg Corporate Finance, ZENIT Bank and Renaissance Capital Investment Group.

In 2000 Ms. Zoteeva was appointed Director General of NIKoil Management Company, then in 2005 – CEO of URALSIB Financial Corporation and in 2007 - Director General of Rusenergoinvest. For several times she was among Top-20 rated “1000 Most Professional Managers of Russia”.

In August 2012, Anastasia joined JSC Rusatom Energy International (previously named JSC Rusatom Overseas) as Executive Vice President, Business Development & Sales. Her duties included management and coordination of works on the analysis of potential world markets and creating effective integrated product and service offerings of Rosatom for overseas markets. In addition, she provided direct strategic leadership of several most important projects of the company, including Rosatom shareholders’ interest in the Fennovoima’s Hanhikivi 1 nuclear power plant.

Starting December 23, 2016, Anastasia Zoteeva is the CEO of Rusatom Energy International.

JSC Rusatom Energy International (JSC REIN) is a ROSATOM subsidiary established in 2011 to promote Russian nuclear technologies at the world market (previously named JSC Rusatom Overseas). Since May 2015, the company has specialized in management of foreign projects on construction and operation of nuclear power plants under conditions of being a shareholder of project companies.

Today, REIN manages development of two full-scale construction projects: Hanhikivi-1 NPP in Finland and Akkuyu NPP in Turkey.
