JSC Rusatom Energy International

The company is a ROSATOM subsidiary established in 2011 in order to promote Russian nuclear technologies in the world market. Since May 2015, JSC Rusatom Energy International (JSC REIN) has run Rosatom international projects on NPP construction and lifetime operation based on equity ownership in project companies. In particular, JSC REIN is a majority shareholder of JSC Akkuyu Nuclear, which implements the project of construction and subsequent operation of Akkuyu NPP in Mersin Province (Turkey). Besides, JSC REIN manages the project of Hanhikivi-1 single-unit NPP construction in Finland. A JSC REIN subsidiary, RAOS Voima Oy, owns 34% shares of Fennovoima Oy, which is the NPP owner. Another JSC REIN subsidiary, RAOS Project Oy, is the general supplier for Hanhikivi-1 NPP.
